New Mexican is National CX Champ: Tove Schere of Sports Systems 505 Racing (far right brandishing the red, white and blue national champion’s jersey) survived freezing weather and ugly course conditions to ride to victory in the women’s 65-69 category at the 2017 National Cyclocross Championships held in Hartford, Connecticut this past January. NMCX Series Champions Hoist Winner’s Jerseys: On Sunday March 13th New Mexico Cyclocross Series winners were presented their champion’s jerseys in a ceremony held at Sport Systems. HDB’s Anita Roe (women’s 40+ champion) and Nathan Masek (men’s 50+ champion) were among the recipients. Congratulations to Anita and Nathan and all the champions.

HDB Hosts Wednesday Night MTB Ride: HDB will begin hosting a mountain bike ride beginning this Wednesday, March 15. The first ride will start from the Michael Emory trail head located at the top of Spain Road. Meet at 6pm. The ride will start at 6:15 pm and will last about 1.5 hours. Rides will likely get longer as days become longer. These are planned to be no-drop rides with re-grouping spots along the way. Start locations will change weekly so check your email and the ride calendar for locations. Post-ride beverages will be provided as an additional ride incentive.
